Brief Introduction

Professor and Ph.D. Supervisor. She has long been engaged in interdisciplinary research between Artificial Intelligence and Science (AI for Science). Her research focuses on the innovative applications of frontier AI technologies, such as machine learning and large language models, in key scientific fields including biology, chemistry, materials science, and medicine. She is committed to accelerating scientific discovery and knowledge creation through an AI-driven research paradigm.

Outstanding students and scholars with backgrounds in computer science, data science, life sciences, chemistry, or related fields are welcome to join the team to jointly explore the new frontiers of science driven by artificial intelligence.



Education

Received a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Technology from Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU). Subsequently, pursued a successive Master-Ph.D. program in the Department of Computer Science at SJTU, during which time was selected for the joint Ph.D. program between SJTU and the University of California, USA, ultimately earning a Ph.D. in Computer Software and Theory.

Professional Experience

Served as a Visiting Scholar in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of California, Riverside. Following this, joined the faculty at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, successively holding the positions of Lecturer and Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science. Currently serves as a Professor in the School of Computer Science at Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
