Dear Adapters:
    Our TIP project needs some realistic speed sample information. So, we
invite you to do some small experiment. The whole thing is simple, just
carry your phone, toggle your GPS switch on, and walking or biking as usual.
    We want to sample speed information. So, it will be ok if the GPS track
are broken into parts. But do not mixing walking and biking.
    You need a android phone to do the experiment.
Step 1:
    download GPSLogger app. Search " GPS logger" in Goole Play store.

Step 2 Modify settings:
    The app look like this:

Before you start, you need to change some settings. hit this [image: Inline
image 3] to go into the setting panel.

Check the "Log to Plain Text" option. Then go into the "记录细节“ panel.

check the "Keep GPS on between fixes".
set "在记录之间的时间” to 1 second.
set "在记录之间的距离“ to 0.
set "记录前准确度" to 0.
hit the "新文件的创建” button" check  the "每次我点击开始“ option.

Step 3 recording:
   Keep the app and GPS on. bring you phone while you are walking or biking
out doors.
 PS: remember to stop the recording when you get indoor or just want to
stop recording. Otherwise, your battery will die soon.

Step 4 uploading:
   You can find your gps samples in your phone's SD card.
