Dear ADAPTers,

Our seminar will be held tomorrow at 5 pm in SEIEE-03-404.

This is the first seminar of this semester, and also my first presentation since I joined the lab. I will present Natural Logic, a very interesting model that tries to infer information from premises in unstructured natural language form, without resorting to full semantic interpretation. Due to the complexity of natural languages, formal approaches such as interpreting languages into logic forms usually result in poor performance, hence this natural logic model seems promising.

My name is 陈显扬. I'm currently a third year undergraduate majoring in computer science. I have some interest in AI and NLP, and right now I am working in the Freelog group. Looking forward to seeing you tomorrow! Hope you will enjoy my presentation.

Best regards,
Xianyang
