题目:From Web to Knowledge Web: A case study of Microsoft Academic Service

Bio: http://research.microsoft.com/en-us/people/kuansanw/
I came to Microsoft Research in March 1998, first as a Researcher in the <http://research.microsoft.com/srg/> speech technology groupworking on the areas of spoken language understanding and dialog modeling. I contributed to the project <http://research.microsoft.com/en-us/projects/mipad/default.aspx> MiPad and created the Speech Application Language Tags, or <http://research.microsoft.com/en-us/projects/salt/default.aspx> SALT that was later submitted to the world wide web consortium (W3C) and now part of the international standards <http://www.ecma-international.org/publications/standards/Ecma-269.htm> ISO/IEC 18051/ECMA-269/ETSI TS 102 173, <http://www.ecma-international.org/publications/standards/Ecma-323.htm> ISO/IEC 18056/ECMA-323/ETSI TS 101 990, and <http://www.ecma-international.org/publications/standards/Ecma-348.htm> ECMA-348. An object model version, described in <http://www.ecma-international.org/publications/techreports/E-TR-088.htm> this TR I wrote, has entered its final phase of being standardized. I also contributed to <http://www.w3.org/TR/speech-grammar/> W3C Speech Recognition Grammar Specification (SRGS), <http://www.w3.org/TR/speech-synthesis/> W3C Speech Synthesis Markup Language (SSML), and various other publications from <http://www.w3.org/2002/mmi/> W3C Multimodal Interaction Working Group. Many of my research papers can still be found at the speech group's publication list and <http://research.microsoft.com/en-us/um/people/kuansanw/MiPad2/MIPadDemo_2Mbit.wmv> video demo area.

祝好,
新兵
