[Adapt] Seminar by Kelsey Huang: A survey on automatic generation of description for images

Hi guys,

 

We will have an additional one-hour seminar in 03-528 tomorrow 2 pm. In this
seminar, Kelsey will give a talk that summarizes several papers on automatic
generation of text descriptions for images, such as "a group of children
playing on a playground" or "a woman sitting on a bench". Deep learning
techniques have been heavily used in this context. In addition, semantic
knowledge such as is-A from Wordnet has been used as well. You are strongly
encouraged to come and listen to this talk.
