Subject: EMNLP 2020: submission form and user profile

Dear Authors,

Thank you for your submissions to EMNLP 2020!

We noticed errors in some of the submissions, as well as incomplete user profiles, and thus we are sending this email to all the authors. We ask that you please check carefully the following:

1.	The submission form asks for you to provide a list of authors to nominate as reviewers. To enter these authors, please use START usernames, not full names in the form. If none of the authors can review, you can provide an explanation in the submission form. You must provide at least one reviewer, or a valid explanation for your paper to be considered. All nominated reviewers must agree to serve as a reviewer in their profile (see point 2).

Please see https://2020.emnlp.org/blog/2020-04-26-reviewing-policy/, which explains our reviewing policy.
2.	Please make sure you have filled out the user profile for EMNLP 2020 (https://www.softconf.com/emnlp2020/papers/user/scmd.cgi?scmd=updateProfile), and updated your Global User Information (https://www.softconf.com/emnlp2020/super/scmd.cgi?ucmd=updateProfile).

All authors of submissions are required to fill in their profile. This includes important questions about the use of their data, and mechanisms for us to better detect conflicts of interest, among other things. Please remind your co-authors to complete their profiles, or create one if they don't have one already.

Our post https://2020.emnlp.org/blog/2020-05-09-fixing-reviewer-profiles/ may help you to complete your profile correctly.

Paper submissions where user profiles are missing or incomplete will be automatically rejected from the conference.

Please let us know if you have any questions.
