Hi Adapters,

Chinese spelling correction (CSC) aims to detect and correct spelling errors in texts. Today is my last talk on CSC. Researchers have focused on the special features of Chinese characters in terms of glyphs and phonetics, aiming to improve the ability to distinguish misspelled characters by incorporating glyph-phonetic information. However, despite these advances, the generalization of CSC models to real-world applications remains limited. How can we improve the generalization ability of CSC models? Can current models recognize and utilize glyph-phonetic information to make predictions? This paper will focus on the above two questions and us more thoughts on CSC task.
