[Adapt] [Seminar] Discovering ancient languages with language models

Hi Adapters,

In this session, I'll talk about an interesting topic: application of language models in discovering ancient languages. I will provide insights into how language models can contribute to the understading and interpretation of historical sound changes in both Romance languages and Chinese. I will also share the results of a straightforward test evaluating the ability of large language models in comprehending ancient Chinese.
