[Adapt] [Seminar] An introduction to the Video Action Recognition

Video action recognition(VAR) is one of the representative tasks for video understanding. A video contains information like image, voice and temporal information, which is worth exploring. But we also encountered new challenges, including modeling longrange temporal information in videos, high computation costs, and incomparable results due to datasets and evaluation protocol variances. In this talk, I’ll introduce the main development route of VAR, with some emerging methods.
