[Adapt] [Seminar] Mining Adverse Drug Reactions from Online Social Media

Hi all,

Our seminar will take place tomorrow at 5pm in rom 3-528. And I'll give
you a talk about my on-going project.

Every drug must have drug insert, containing drug name, indications,
drug usage, side effects and other necessary information. But there may
be some unknown side effects, which probably cause huge damages to
patients.

With the rapid development of Internet, nowadays people no longer have
to talk with each other face by face. From online discussions, we can
also collect patients’ feedbacks conveniently. In this way, we may find
more side effects.

So we propose a framework that crawls data from Internet, and then
analyzes it to find more side effects.
